Hello you fabulous people!
Firstly I'd like to take the opportunity to apologize, as I haven't actually kept to my idea of regular blogging, and haven't actually written a post in sooo long! Therefore, here is my sincerest apology, I am planning on blogging much more often, it's just I've got a lot of exams and deadlines and other pity excuses like that at the moment, but I will try my very best to blog much more frequently, as you most likely think I am hopeless with commitment, which I guess I am, from the amount of musical instruments I've began to play for about 2 weeks and then gave up, but that's a completely different story, and I'm rambling. In a more straight forward, less boring way: I am terribly sorry for being such a hopeless blogger!
Anyways, this blog post was quite an unoriginal and not so exciting blog post, but I've decided with the 30 minutes I have spare I may as well write a post for you wonderful people. This post will feature my not so daily makeup routine! 'Not so daily'? Well in case you're wondering, or even care, it's basically the makeup I wear once every 2 weeks or so, as I never really put much effort into my facial appearance, as most of my time I'm stuck at school or in the house anyway, but this makeup is a fairly natural look, which would be very suitable for somebody who does like to wear an adequate amount of makeup daily, or once in a blue moon. Hopefully you haven't fell asleep, as I've rambled so much but here it is...
I have recently discovered the Yves Saint Laurent touche Eclat, and I have become obsessed! Its a wonderful dewy foundation, which leaves your skin looking flawless and very healthy, it's great for a healthy looking, and fresh looking finish, as I'm not so much a fan of matte foundations, this foundation is perfect with a dewy finish.

With the foundation on my face, I then go on to apply some concealer to cover up those hideous bags and spots, I'm fortunate to not have loads of spots, so I don't need much, but every teenager has spots, I mean if you don't I envy you ridiculous amounts, and in all seriousness I reckon you're extremely abnormal. This is a fairly complicated one (well not so much, there's just a tiny bit extra for your brains to store). I actually use 2 concealers, 1 for under my eyes, and the other for spots, as the 'under my eye one' actually gives off a lot of shine, and would only make my spots shiny(?) (My English teacher would seriously kill me if he saw that I used 'gives off', he has a very strange loathe towards the two common words). This fabulous 'under the eye' concealer is called Rimmel Wake me up concealer, I find it amazing, and I'm not actually so sure what I'd do without it. (probably just buy a new concealer, but this really is the best of the best). The concealer I use for spots is by Maybeline, and is called cover stick, this too is very fabulous and has amazing coverage, I highly recommend this one!

(I'll be extremely surprised if anyone has actually read all of this, and actually got to this point, because I've rambled ridiculous amounts throughout this post, and here I am now rambling about rambling.)
Right. moving on next, I will always set my foundation and concealer with some magic Rimmel Stay matte powder. Gaaah this powder has been with me for years, and I am still completely and hopelessly hooked, it is so good!!! If you don't already have this within your makeup collection you most definitely need it!
(This is actually the back of it, as I've had this powder for over 6 months to say the least, the front of it has actually worn away, so I have decided to show you lovely lot the back of this lovely powder).
As I am ridiculously pale, even so that many of the lightest foundation colours, are still a bit too dark for my skin colour, I add a tiny bit of bronzer to the outlines of my face and on my cheek bones, to give my face a bit of defined structure and a bit of colour. This bronzer is also one of the ancient antiques of my makeup collection, as I have only recently rediscovered it, and I have, once again fell in love with it. It leaves a natural, yet subtle and visible finish on my face, and automatically just makes my face look 10 times better.

Now for the eyes, on my eyes I love to use a bit of neutral coloured eyeshadow, just to look a bit more girly than my masculine face does without. I use this fabulous eye shadow set by Revlon, and it has 4 colours to use, to create a gorgeous finished look, these colours include 2 brown colours to shadow the actual eyelid, under the eyebrow, a pink colour and a silver/ grey colour, the pink just cleans up any of the mess between the brown colour and the eyebrow, whilst the silver colour fills in the actual eyelid. I know you probably think it sounds crazy, but the actual outcome is very natural and pretty.

The next item I will use is the oh so haunting and traumatising eyeliner, if you're anything like me, I dread this stage the most, so much that throughout 2013, I think I only wore eyeliner around 3 times, as every time I put it on I'd wipe it off out of frustration as it seems to never go right! Fear not then, as I have discovered the perfect product to solve this frightening problem. Yes it is still a liquid eyeliner, however it is almost like an actual felt tip pen, it's so easy to apply and can be handled differently to create different looks, whether you're going for a big, bold, cat eye look, or an almost invisible line across the lash line of your eye, this eye liner is perfect for any job! It's by Rimmel (of course) and is called 'Scandal EYES'.

After your eye looks almost perfect, but fairly bald, the only solution for this is the oh so magnificent mascara, which I'm sure you'll know of, as it's all what beauty guru's rave about, yes you guessed it, it's the amazing Rimmel 'The Falsies'. This mascara, could be seen as overrated in some eyes, as it's very commonly mentioned, but I think that it is definitely worthy of the attention, as it makes your eyelashes look AMAZING. This is a must buy for all of you who do not own this fabulous product.

Finally, if you're like me, and have fairly dark eyebrows, but with a fair amount of gaps within the bush of hairs above your eyes, this eyebrow mascara is exactly what you need. It's like a mascara which has various different colours available, so that it's suitable for almost all brows. The great brush is very small, so it's suitable for your eyebrows without getting streaks of mascara around your brows, it fills your eyebrows in with just a stroke through those glorious brows, yet does not make them like two slugs crawling across your forehead, as it leaves a very natural, but a lovely finish to your brows, which completes the natural look.
Ok, so this blog post took a little longer than 30 minutes, actually much longer, but I reckoned I owed it to you guys for my absence so I hope you enjoy this post, I will definitely post again very soon, don't you worry!!
(Incase you're rather clueless as to why I placed the makeup on a wooly jumper, it is because my room is an absolute tip, so I guess the white background actually makes me look fairly organised, which I am not, but hopefully it worked!)
Love yaaaa
