Film reviews

I'm going to share with you all some of the films I have recently seen and basically, review them. Hopefully this should give you an idea whether or not to spend (waste) your time watching a film or not.

Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014)

I recently went to see the much raved about transformers movie, which I was fairly excited for as I loved the other 3. Now i hadn't had the highest of expectations for this film as I found that with the series of the transformers films, from the first to the third, the films gradually got worse. However I can't begin to explain how amazing this film actually was! It was by far the best transformers film, I have never felt myself unintentionally lift my hands to my mouth and gasp like I had throughout this film. It had several aspects of tension, comedy and shock. I was literally speechless after the film, it really was incredible and I would highly recommend that you all go see it right this second!!!

Stuck in Love (2012)

Now with this film, I can't say I watched it for the first time recently, as I've probably watched it over and over again for weeks now. I suppose I've already gave it away how spectacular this film actually is. I'm one who's not typically for the sad, romance films, however this one intrigued me, the story line is completely unique and really is surprisingly amazing. It also has aspects of comedy, but also romance. I tend to find films that aren't realistic quite annoying, as I'm an awfully realistic person, so this film is perfect for anyone who shares the same view, as it's such a realistic story line, an awkward teenager forces their self into developing a social life. It's a great film and has genuinely given me a whole new view on life itself, and this film really is unbelievable for leaving that effect on me.

Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie (2014)

I had very high expectations for this particular film as I am in love with the episodes, and Mrs Brown's Boys is probably one of my favourite programmes. However, I was sadly disappointed with this film, I don't think the storyline was very creative and the typical comical aspect of Mrs Browns Boys was actually kept minimal which was a shame. There were a few comical sections however I did get fairly bored throughout part of the film. Typically the episodes are set in a small typical Dublin house, however within the film there were very few scenes which were actually set inside the house, which fair enough may be quite dull if the scenes were all set in the living room, however in my opinion I do think this ruined the usual aspect of Mrs Brown's Boys. If you haven't seen the programmes, well then I would definitely recommend you to watch them! However I was quite disappointed with the turnout of this film unfortunately.
